Just the blue sky above us
If I have written of the clouds that have clothed the mountains and the winds that have
fanned the trees I must also write of the naked blue sky that hangs above us today with
nary a fleck of mist to steal glances and nary an imp to meddle with its equanimity save
for a ball of effulgent fire that radiates a cataclysm every passing second into the
yonder. But the ball hides well behind the trees and the concrete towering above them,
subdued and embedded in the impassive blue cheeks of an indifferent, empty and inclusive
sky.
