Donnie Pinkston - Caltech Computer Science
Hi there! This is my home-page in the Caltech Computer Science department.
It primarily contains information that is relevant to my job here at
Caltech. My title is Shop Programmer, which includes helping teach
CS11, and also helping
people with any programming or software-development challenges, related to
school projects or research they are doing.
My fellow instructor is Mike
Vanier. He is more experienced in this role, so I bug him a lot. He
has a lot of interests, just like me.

Topics
This is a short list of topics that fascinate me:

- Natural Language Understanding
- Computational Fluid Dynamics
- Continuum Mechanics
- Astronomy and Astrophotography
What this means is that when I have spare time, I am usually playing
with a project that involves one of these topics.
It does not necessarily mean that I am any good at them.
